Welcome to the Moonlight Orchestra Online
The Moonlight Orchestra is a Swing/Jazz/Latin band that features some of the very finest musicians in Southern California. For over seventeen years, the band, led by Ed Nani, has provided music for weddings, dances, fund raisers, benefits, corporate outings, and numerous special events and holiday parties.The Orchestra performs familiar Swing and Jazz favorites, made popular by such name artists as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Nat Cole, and Harry Connick, Jr., as well as a variety of Latin, ethnic, and popular songs. But, that's not all! We also offer sounds ranging from soft rock to disco, and our wide array of flexible, professional, and personalized services transforms special events into truly remarkable and memorable occasions for guests of all ages.
The band plays concerts and events year-round, typically traveling from Central California to the Mexican border. Engagements of any size are happily accommodated. And, with our extensive repertoire, we can construct a comprehensive music program — fashioned for intimate cocktail hour receptions, elaborate dinner parties, or as the featured attraction for community dances and related functions.
The Orchestra can easily be structured into a group sized to suit your specific needs — from a four-piece Jazz band for a backyard party to a seventeen-piece full concert band for a formal wedding, a corporate event, or a concert in the park.
And, if you need event support, play list development, coordination with your wedding or event planner, a skilled MC (Master of Ceremonies), or an effervescent engaging entertainer to lead your guests in special activities (e.g. conga line, line dance, chicken dance, etc.) and loads of fun, the Moonlight Orchestra is ready and able to assist in making your dream event a reality.
